Analisis Disposisi Keterampilan Literasi Sains Mahasiswa Melalui Pendekatan Proses Sains dan Implementasi Assesmen Kinerja

Students must be equipped with skills that strengthen their ability to understand the hierarchical structure of concepts and relate them to real-world phenomena. One essential skill that students should possess is scientific literacy, which emphasizes problem-solving abilities. This study aims to examine students’ scientific literacy disposition through a holistic performance assessment approach. The research employed a one-group pretest–posttest design. Essay tests and rubrics were developed, consisting of indicators and rating scales with specific intervals, and validated by expert reviewers. The indicators of Scientific Literacy Disposition (SLD) include several sub-indicators used in data collection. Validity and reliability tests were conducted to determine the accuracy and consistency of the instruments. Data were analyzed using normalized N-Gain calculations. The results show an improvement in students’ scientific literacy skills, indicated by N-Gain values of 0.56 for Group 1 and 0.36 for Group 2.
