Abstract

Teachers often fail to recognize students’ difficulties in conceptual understanding because they do not review assignments and still use conventional teaching methods. This study aims to determine the improvement of students’ conceptual understanding through the application of the fast feedback model rainbow cards method on Newton’s Law material. The research employed a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design of one-group pre-test and post-test. The sample consisted of 34 randomly selected students from class X MIA3 at SMA Kristen 1 Soe. Data were collected using multiple-choice conceptual understanding tests and analyzed using a paired sample t-test and N-Gain. The results showed that -tcount < -ttable (-33.33 < -2.03), indicating a significant improvement in students’ conceptual understanding. The N-Gain score of 0.96 was categorized as high. Therefore, the fast feedback model rainbow cards method is effective in improving students’ conceptual understanding of Newton’s Law.
