Abstract

Currently, technology has great urgency in supporting the educational process. So this media was developed to get a product in the form of an electronic module (E-Module) based on Google Sites with the help of cartoons which can be used as an independent learning resource. The objective of this research is to determine the feasibility of the Google Sites-based E-Module aided by cartoons in teaching the subject of Material Elasticity. The study employs a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data were obtained from expert validation in both media and subject matter domains. Six assessment aspects of the media were considered: presentation, comprehensiveness, media utility, introduction, content, and evaluation. The validation results showed an average score of 85% (highly feasible) for the presentation aspect, 100% (highly feasible) for comprehensiveness, 88% (highly feasible) for media utility, 88% (highly feasible) for the introduction, 85% (highly feasible) for the content, and 75% (feasible) for evaluation. In conclusion, the Google Sites-based E-Module supported by cartoons is highly feasible for use in teaching Material Elasticity in Physics.
