Abstract

This study aims to develop a guided inquiry-based module on bacterial material for class x SMA/MA. This type of research is development research. The model used in this research and development is the Bord and Gall model using only 5 stages, namely the initial research and information collection stage, the planning stage, the initial product format development stage, the initial trial stage, and the revision stage. The validator consists of 1 material expert, 1 design expert, and 1 biology teacher. The respondents consisted of 6 students of class XI IPA MA Muallimat NW Pancor for the 2021/2022 academic year. The data collection technique used a questionnaire with a Likert scale to a scale of 4 according to the researcher's modification. The data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the product of teaching materials in the form of modules developed has feasible criteria, both in terms of material (81.05%), in terms of teaching design (96.42%), biology teachers (74.25 %), and student responses (93.18%). Thus, this module is suitable for use in the learning process.
