About the Journal

Jurnal Pendidikan Biologi (JPB) is an open-access and peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing research articles in any area of Biology Education by research and or result of conceptual studies. It was published since August 01, 2009 by the Biology Department, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Negeri Malang, and Indonesian Biological Society region of East Java. JPB published twice a year in August and February in Indonesian or English. 

Since the publication of Vol. 1 No. 1 (in 2009) to Vol. 5 No. 2 (in 2014), the article is also on the old web (http://journal.um.ac.id/index.php/jpb) and uses print and online publications. Then, Vol. 6 No 2 (in 2015) to Vol. 16 No 1 (in 2025) using the new web (http://journal2.um.ac.id/index.php/jpb). Started Vol. 16 No 2 (in 2025) migrated into OJS 3 (https://journal-fmipa.um.ac.id/index.php/jpb) as Full Open Journal System.

The manuscript submitted has not been published anywhere, both printed or electronic. The author shall refer to the author guidelines before submitting the manuscript.
