PENGEMBANGAN E-BOOK BERORIENTASI HOTS PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPA MATERI SELAMATKAN MAKHLUK HIDUP BERKARAKTER KONSERVASI DI KELAS VI SD

Abstract

this study aims to: (1) determine the validity of the HOTS-oriented e-book on the material of Save Living Creatures with conservation characteristics in sixth-grade students of elementary school, and (2) determine the practicality of the HOTS-oriented e-book on the material of Save Living Creatures with conservation characteristics in sixth-grade students of elementary school. This research utilized development research with the Four-D (4D) development model. The subjects of this study were students of the sixth- grade class of SDN 6 Kabila Bone and SDN 1 Ponelo in the academic year of 2020/2021. The data collection instrument utilized a validation sheet, and the response was in the form of a questionnaire, then the technical analysis adopted a Likert scale. The findings indicated that the HOTS- oriented e-book fulfis the eligibility standards. It is proven by the results of material expert validation which obtained the percentage of each aspect of 96%, 97.5%, 90%, and 100% with excellent criteria. Besides, the results of media expert validation obtained the percentage of each aspect that is 96.67%, 100%, 100%, and 93.3%, which is also in excellent criteria. In addition, the feasibility standard of this HOTS-oriented e-book was strengthened by the results of product trials for teachers and students who gave a positive response to this HOTS-oriented e-book. Thus, the HOTS- oriented e-book on science learning in material of Save Living Creatures with conservation characteristics in class VI SD is feasible and usable in the learning
