HUBUNGAN KECERDASAN NATURALIS DENGAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS PESERTA DIDIK PADA MATERI PENCEMARAN LINGKUNGAN

Abstract

This research is a correlational study that connects the naturalist intelligence with the learners' critical thinking ability on the environmental pollution material. The research method used is correlational with the population namely all students class X MIPA 1 to X MIPA 7. The research sample consisted of 32 students. The research instruments used this study consist of 2 validated instruments, namely the form of a description (test) for critical thinking skills, and non-test intelligence questionnaires. The data analysis techniques used are normality and linearity tests as prerequisite analysis tests, as well as bivariate correlation regression tests for hypothesis tests. Based on the results of the study can be concluded that there is a correlation between naturalist intelligence and critical thinking skills with a correlation coefficient value (R) of 0,416 which belongs to the medium category. Then obtained a coefficient determination value (R2) of 0,173 or 17,3%.
