PENGARUH 5E-FLIPPED CLASSROOM TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KRITIS, KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KREATIF, DAN HASIL BELAJAR KOGNITIF SISWA

Abstract

To solve problems in the 21st century life which is full of challenges and global competition requires mastery of critical thinking skills and creative thinking. Learning that is designed must facilitate the process of constructing understanding and be able to create a positive and flexible learning environment. Flipped-Classroom 5E inquiry learning is a learning model that has a constructivist approach as well as being flexible in classroom learning. This study aims to see the effect of 5E Flipped-Classroom learning on critical thinking skills, creative thinking skills, and cognitive learning outcomes of class XI in biology learning. The research design uses a quasi-experimental non randomized control group design. Each variable was measured through pretest and posttest. The results showed that there was a positive influence of the 5E-Flipped Classroom inquiry
learning model on critical thinking skills, creative thinking, and cognitive learning outcomes of students in biology learning (significance value <0.05). The 5E-Flipped Classroom inquiry learning model intervention can be used as a means for teachers to improve thinking skills as well as to improve students' academic performance in biology learning.
