Abstract

The development of the industrial revolution 4.0 is characterized by the use of the internet in various aspects of life or known as the Internet of Things (IoTS). APJII survey data in 2018 shows that 64.8 percent of Indonesians are connected to the Internet, most of which is used for communication and social media purposes. This study aims to analyze the digital literacy profile of science teachers in Denpasar and the school's efforts to improve the digital literacy skills of teachers. The population in this study were all junior high school science teachers in Denpasar City. While the sample in the study was represented by 18 science teachers spread over 9 junior high schools in each district of Denpasar City, which were selected using a stratified random sampling technique. This type of research is descriptive quantitative where the instrument used is a digital literacy questionnaire. Data analysis of digital literacy questionnaire with percentage technique. This research found that the digital literacy profile of science teachers throughout Denpasar City was already at the good category level, namely 74.73 percent (from the expected 100 percent), however, there are aspects that need to be improved, namely the aspect of communication skills in this case the use of digital media as content creators to be able to create innovative learning media.
