The handling of plastic waste is still an environmental problem that requires attention. The conversion
of plastic waste into liquid fuel is one of the solutions that are quite interesting to researchers. The purpose of this research was to convert polypropylene (PP) plastic waste into liquid fuel, premium-like, through the pyrolysis process. PP type plastic waste was pyrolyzed using a batch reactor equipped with a condenser. The liquid fuel yield obtained from 8 Kg of plastic is 63.375 % with a pyrolysis maximum temperature of 330 °C. The GC-MS analysis results show that the liquid fuel obtained still has a long carbon chain, namely C7-C54 with the main fraction is hydrocarbons with C11-C20. The calorific value of liquid fuel is 46,199 MJ / kg and the density value of 0.726 g/mL.
