Aktivitas Antioksidan dan Identifikasi Senyawa Metabolit Sekunder dari Ekstrak Batang Dahu (Dracontomelon dao)

Dahu (Dracontomelon dao) belongs to the Anacardiaceae family which contains various secondary
metabolites that can be used as a source of natural antioxidants. The aim of this study was to extract
secondary metabolites from stems bark of D. dao, determine their antioxidant activity and analyze the content
of secondary metabolites using LC-MS/MS. The stem samples of D. dao were extracted in stages with various
types of solvents such as methanol ethyl acetate, and n-hexane. Each extract was analyzed for its antioxidant
activity using the 2,2-diphenyl-1 picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) method. The most active extracts were
characterized by LC-MS/MS. The stem methanol extract of D. dao showed the best antioxidant activity with
an IC50 value of 30.86 ppm, followed by ethyl acetate extract with an IC50 of 200.83 ppm and n-hexane extract
with an IC50 value of 348 ppm. Identification results with LC-MS/MS methanol extract containing
tributylamine, medroxyprogesterone acetate, and flavanones.
