Sintesis Material Fotokatalis Strontium titanat (SrTiO3) dengan Metode Hidrotermal pada Variasi Suhu

The perovskite compound SrTiO3 has the potential to be used in photocatalyst technology. The morphology
particle was reported to affect its photocatalytic activity. The hydrothermal synthesis method is one of the methods which can produce the typical morphology. In this research, SrTiO3 was synthesized using the hydrothermal method with heating temperature variations of 150, 175, 200, and 225 °C at 24 hours. The XRD data showed that SrTiO3was successfully synthesized at a synthesis temperature of 150, 175, 200 and 225 °C, but there were found impurities (TiO2). The morphology of SrTiO3 which using temperature synthesized 225 oC is cubic shape and having the biggest size. The bandgap value of SrTiO3 product was obtained at range 3,14-3,20 eV.
