Coordination compound of cadmium nitrate and dppp has not been reported. The purpose of this research are to synthesize coordination compoound of cadmium nitrate and dppp with 1:1 stoichiometry and determine its structure. The coordination compound obtained is colourless cry stalline solid having beam shape with melting point of 272-275̊C. Results of electrical conductivity and qualitativeC fkekfksnitrate ion tesindicates that the compound is a molecular one. EDX analysisshow the empirical formula C27H26CdN2O6P2. The accepted compound is [Cd(ONO2)2(dppp)] with distorted tetrahedral structure and average free bond energy -47.5 kJ/mol.Downloads
