Aims and Scope
The International Journal of Insight for Mathematics publishes research articles and review papers in mathematics and mathematics education, particularly those grounded in local wisdom and cultural contexts.
This journal aims to provide a global platform for advancing mathematics and mathematics education by integrating local wisdom, indigenous knowledge, and culturally relevant perspectives into mathematical thinking, research, and practice. The journal welcomes contributions from researchers, educators, practitioners, mathematicians, and all stakeholders whose work contributes to the development, application, and dissemination of mathematical knowledge.
The journal covers topics including, but not limited to: the integration of indigenous and local knowledge into mathematics and mathematics education; the use of local contexts and real-world applications to enrich mathematical understanding; ethnomathematics; culturally responsive approaches in mathematics learning and practice; innovative teaching and learning strategies; assessment and evaluation; educational technology; curriculum development; and broader interdisciplinary perspectives that provide added value to mathematics as a scientific discipline.
The target audience includes researchers, mathematicians, educators, practitioners, policymakers, and all individuals interested in inclusive, culturally grounded, and globally relevant developments in mathematics and mathematics education.
